Dates to Remember: Mark Your Calendars for Owyhee High School's End-of-Year Events!

As we quickly approach the close of another academic year at Owyhee High School, there's a palpable mix of excitement and bittersweet emotion in the air.

From the laughter in the hallways to the final exams, every moment is a step closer to those final days that mark significant milestones for our students and the entire school community.

With that said, there are two crucial dates that students, parents, faculty, and friends should mark on their calendars to ensure that they don’t miss out on the end-of-year celebrations.

Friday, May 24: Last Day of School - A Full Day of Reflection and Farewells

The last day of school for all students at Owyhee High School is set for Friday, May 24, and it’s a full day of classes.

This day is always filled with mixed emotions – the joy of completing another academic year, the pride in all that has been achieved, and, of course, the sad goodbyes. It's a day to reflect on the past year, to celebrate achievements, and to say farewell to friends and teachers, at least for the summer.

Even though it's the last day, it's essential to approach it with the same dedication as any other day at school. Students will be wrapping up their classes, possibly having final discussions or activities that reflect on the year's work. It's a day to cherish, as each last day of school marks a significant point in one's educational journey.

Saturday, May 25: Owyhee High School Graduation - A Moment of Triumph

The culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and countless memories, the graduation ceremony for Owyhee High School's senior class is set for Saturday, May 25, at 11:00 a.m. This significant event will be held at the Extra Mile Arena on the BSU Campus, where family, friends, and faculty will gather to celebrate the incredible achievements of our graduating students.

Graduation is more than just a ceremony; it symbolizes a rite of passage, a transition from one chapter of life to the next, and the beginning of a new journey filled with adventure, challenges, and opportunities. It's a time for graduates to shine, to be proud, and to be celebrated for their perseverance and achievements.

To the Class of 2024 this is your moment – a testament to your hard work, determination, and the bright future that lies ahead. Make sure to savor every moment of your graduation day. From the march to the strains of "Pomp and Circumstance" to the turning of tassels and the tossing of caps, each element is a cherished memory in the making.

Join Us in Celebration

To our students, parents, faculty, and friends, these final days of the school year are a time to come together, to support one another, and to celebrate the milestones that have been achieved. Let's make these moments unforgettable for everyone involved.

As we look forward to these significant events, let’s also remind ourselves of the journey that brought us here and the people who have supported us along the way. Here's to a fantastic end to the school year and an even brighter future for our graduates.

Remember, success is not just about what you accomplish in your life but about what you inspire others to do. Congratulations to all our students for another successful year, and a special congratulations to the Class of 2024 – the future is yours to shape!
